Earthwails Seismic Analyzer is a software application designed for normal people, the geophysical community, and engineers, to listen to the sounds emitted from inside the Earth and visualize the spectrum of these sounds using high-quality images. This unique capability allows people to learn more about the Earth through sound.
As of now, we are unable to see inside the Earth. The deepest we have dug is 12,000 meters, which is just 0.1% of the Earth’s total diameter of 12,000 kilometers. Therefore, most of our knowledge about Earth’s properties is derived from the study of seismic waves and sound transmission within the Earth.
The initial release of the software will allow users to listen to signals recorded by geophones or sensitive microphones placed within the Earth. The geophysical community and engineers may utilize this version to monitor shallow earth properties, construction projects, and study them from various perspectives.
